To launch PNC Bank's NFL partnership with the Chicago Bears, my partner and I created the "All In" campaign - a fan-focused series of TV, radio, online, print, and out-of-home ads that positioned PNC Bank as a supportive partner rather than just be another superimposed logo.

Insight: Chicago is a city that, despite it’s white collar wealth, is rooted in blue collar values. These values are no more applicable than in the community’s support of the NFL’s Chicago Bears – a team built on a historically tough and defensive style.

Strategy: We created a series of social content and local broadcast spots that linked PNC, a hard-working bank, with the hard-working people of Chicago. The campaign was supported regionally with digital ads, in-branch POS, OOH and in-stadium banners.

Results: PNC exceeded their Chicago, year 1, new account openings projections by 15%

When you think of banking, what comes to mind?

Probably not fun, games, and ice cream . . . until now.

To promote PNC Bank's branch openings in new markets and drive account acquisition, I suggested we get together with our new neighbors over the summer for a good old fashioned block party.

The PNC Treat Truck
Being a suave and persuasive marketer, I somehow convinced my BANKING CLIENTS to buy and design our own food truck. The PNC Treat Truck slings tasty, financially-themed treats (created in partnership with select local vendors) and special account opening offers in zip codes where new PNC branches are opening to spread joy and brand awareness.



Festival of Achievement
To properly celebrate the grand openings of our new branches, I worked with the production team at Deutsch to create a fully-branded carnival experience. We conceptualized, designed, and fabricated larger-than-life carnival games with tie-ins to PNC's banking tools, credit cards, and home lending services. We also created game guides to educate the staff on game operation and product selling points, and we also created signage for brand level messaging.

While working on a social assignment for Honda, I stumbled across Tim Mings - a quirky mechanic and collector with a fixation on the Honda N600. I was looking for a subject matter expert to interview; but I found so much more.

Tim told me he owned the first Honda car ever produced for the American market - 'Serial One' - but it was on cinderblocks.

Over lunch that day, I put together a wild pitch: to fund and document Tim Mings' restoration the #FirstHonda, and have a homecoming event for the car at the American Honda Museum in Torrance, CA.

The folks at Honda said yes ;)



Social:
I also created a social campaign that invited Honda's followers to share memories about their beloved Honda car(s) using the #FirstHonda. Just as Tim's N600 was the first Honda in the US, many drivers had a Civic or Camry for their first automobile.

As a copywriter for the Equinox Launchpad, I help crypto start-ups bridge the knowledge gap and market their blockchain projects to potential investors in a compelling and easy-to-understand way.

I've worked with a variety of crypto start-ups in the metaverse, gaming, and NFT spaces. Here are a few pieces I've scripted:





During my time in Southern California, I collaborated with hip-hop/r&b artist @OfficiallyFrosty, co-writing and producing her debut "Frosty" EP.

I leveraged my marketing expertise to create an epic launch campaign that capitalized on our early momentum and grassroots support from the local music scene to propel the project toward a wider audience.

To do this, I collaborated with multiple illustrators, artists, photographers, and videographers to create a unique and powerful aesthetic for Frosty, the EP, and our "A Frosty Summer" 2019 tour, including a logo, custom Aztec-inspired illustrations for the album cover, music video, tour posters & merch, and physical CDs.

I collaborated with Sri Lankan pop/r&b singer Romaine Willis to write her debut single, "Milk and Sugar." The process involved multiple jam sessions, sharing lyrics to my existing work for inspiration, and then writing lyrics together for this song (as well as three others).



"Milk & Sugar" charted at number 1 within Sri Lanka for three straight weeks.

There are more than 250 unique Blizzard Pins of varying rarity to collect. Adventurers and traders have spent years searching for missing treasures to complete their collections, and each BlizzCon, they gather at the Darkmoon Faire to display their wares in hopes of scoring the perfect trade.

Equipped with a modest inventory of five pins, I pulled up a chair at the Blizzard Bazaar—the large “open trading” area at the Darkmoon Faire—to learn more about these treasure seekers, and to try my hand at trading. . . .
